The Israel Conference Opens on June 2, 2011 in Los Angeles To showcase Innovative Products and Technology from Israel-facing companies

LOS ANGELES, CA May 18, 2011 - The Israel Conference is the largest gathering in California of innovative CEOs from Israel in technology, entertainment and media, gaming, advertising, mobile, content, energy and consumer products on June 2, 2011 in Los Angeles at the Luxe Hotel on Sunset from 7:30am to 8:30pm. The Israel Conference sets itself apart from other business conferences by having a unique focus on Israel-facing companies that include those that are founded in Israel, those who have R&D in Israel, those that do business in Israel, and those who invest in Israeli companies.

CEO's and top executives from innovative companies and industry leaders will share their insights for opening up new markets in the areas of Advertising, eCommerce, Content and Convergence, Mobile, Consumer Brands, and Going Public. Attendees are senior business executives from across the US and Israel.

The Israel Conference has amazing speakers from major and emerging companies. Fascinating speakers include Ra'anan Horowitz the President and CEO of Elbit Systems, one of Israel's largest companies with revenues in excess of $3B. Providing business insights is Haim Saban the Chairman and CEO of Saban Capital Group who co-founded Fox Family Worldwide and sold to Disney for over $3B. David Renzer the former Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Publishing will speak about IP in the music world. All make for an engaging discussion.

The Israel Conference is co-chaired by Yossi Vardi, considered the Godfather of Israeli High-Tech, and Sharona Justman, managing director of STEP Strategy Advisors, an acquisitions advisory firm in Los Angeles. Companies speaking at The Israel Conference include four that were acquired in the past year. Dapper was acquired by Yahoo! because of their fantastic technology platform which provides dynamic display ad creation. 5minMedia was acquired by AOL because of their market changing video syndication platform. Answers.com the creators of the leading answer engine was acquired by AFCV Holdings. PicScout was acquired by Getty Images just last month. SodaStream had the largest secondary offering on Wall Street by an Israeli company.
